Transportation Notes
One of the terrific things about Los Sueños Resort & Marina is its convenient location. Most visitors choose to fly into Juan Santamaria International Airport in San José, just a little over an hour to the Resort.
Members can arrange for transportation services to and from the airport directly through the Club. Once you arrive at the airport, be on the lookout for a driver holding a sign with your name on it. It is a brand-new van with AC, and beverages are included. There is an additional fee of $130.00 + 13% tax for 4 people if you would like to arrange for transportation.
Members can also rent a car allowing the freedom to explore the country. Getting directions and guidance is much easier than it once was with applications such as Waze and Google Maps. Rest & Relaxation:
In-Room Massage – After a long day of adventure, an in-room massage is the perfect way to pamper yourself while on vacation. Send the kids to the pool or set them up for a day at the Kids Club and enjoy the peace and quiet of your luxury condo or villa, have a deep tissue massage, and sink into relaxation. Enjoy other spa services as well including, in-house body scrubs, wraps, manicures, pedicures and more!
Beach Club – Grab a good book and lounge by the pool at the Los Sueños Beach Club. Enjoy dining at Al Fresco Restaurant, or have the staff bring you a menu with wonderful snacks, meal items and plenty of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to keep you satisfied. The Beach Club also allows coolers, so you can bring your own drinks if you choose (keep in mind, no glass allowed).
Sunset Cruise – Sit back, enjoy a refreshing drink and watch the sun sink into the horizon.

Los Sueños Beach Club:
Enjoy this exclusive resort beach club, a 2-acre facility that includes a free-form swimming pool, Jacuzzis, fountains, swim-up bar, the Al Fresco Restaurant with poolside wait service, and an elevated, white sand beach with shade palapas and a children’s playground. There is also a giant kiddie pool area and an even bigger side for adults, as well as a patio area with lounge chairs, shade palapas, outdoor dining tables, showers, lockers and pool toys.
Los Sueños Marriott:

Iguana Golf Course:
Los Sueños Resort is home to La Iguana Golf Course, a professional 18-hole, par 72 golf course that was designed by Ted Robinson Jr. Landscaped to blend seamlessly with the lush Costa Rican jungle that surrounds it, and situated to enjoy stunning ocean views, the La Iguana Golf Course is home to an abundance of exotic native plants and animals, as well as more than 150 species of birds. Kids Club:
The Tortuga Kids Club has dozens of fun, interactive games and activities to keep kids entertained in a safe environment while parents are golfing, fishing, or enjoying other resort activities. From arts and crafts to educational eco tours, movies, baking, and piñata parties, kids will enjoy everything from water balloon fights to making bracelets. Kids from 4 to 11 years old can enjoy the daily program at Tortuga Kids Club.
When you land in Costa Rica:
Feel free to stop at the Duty Free and pick up wine, liquor and beer at a huge savings, located before the baggage claim area.
Normal drive time from Juan Santamaria Airport to Los Sueños Resort is an hour and fifteen minutes; give yourself at least 2 or 3 hours in case of traffic. Download the Waze App on your phone to tell you what’s happening with traffic on the roads.
